Aly & AJ hosted Aventine’s Mother’s Day Luncheon this past Sunday with their mother Carrie. While no candids have been released yet, we do have pictures of them in the photo booth at the event with family and friends.

Aly & AJ attended the Annual Race to Erase MS Gala tonight at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The girls have been long-time supporters of the Race to Erase MS organization, and have posed for its ad campaigns and walked the runway for its benefit fashion shows in the past. We’ve added 16 MQ pictures of the girls looking absolutely stunning at the event to the Gallery, and will continue to add more pictures as they are released. Update: 70 more pictures have been added.

After a two year period of silence, Aly & AJ have finally begun posting small updates into their lives through vlogs. The girls haven’t said how often these will be posted, but have said that they want to let the fans into their lives more now that the album’s release is right around the corner. Hopefully we’ll get some much needed insight into the release process soon; in the meantime, check out the girls first vlog as 78violet below! We also added some screen captures on the gallery.

78violet (also known as Aly & AJ) is an American pop rock band consisting of sisters Alyson and Amanda Michalka. They were born in Torrance, CA. They are both singer-songwriters, guitarists, and actors. Their first album is titled 'Into The rush', the second album is titled 'Acoustic Hearts Of Winter' and the third one is titled 'Insomniatic' following the hit single 'Potential Break Up Song'. After departing from Hollywood Records, it was confirmed that the lead single from the new album would be "Hothouse. They later confirmed that the album and single would be released by their new record label, Violet House Productions.
